A new and original approach to typography and design

Team building with a difference - develop your analogue design skills and get back to basics with ink and paper. 

What makes our workshops  unique is a creative approach to the use of letterforms in design.

Your team will work with our collection of original Victorian wooden letterpress blocks. Individually or in collaboration your team can create unique hand printed artworks.

Our extensive Letterpress collection was started in the 1960s by my Father, Graphic Designer Tony Guy ARCA, and I have been adding to it ever since.

Westminster Abbey – Printing History with Antique Letterpress

Set in the breathtaking grounds of this iconic London landmark, I hosted a custom workshop for 25 guests using my treasured collection of vintage wooden printing blocks. To make the session truly unique, I carved bespoke linocut resources inspired by the Abbey’s historic stone facade - including Tudor roses, quatrefoils, and heraldic shields. Guests combined these with letterpress blocks to print their own personalised family crests or a one-of-a-kind souvenir of their visit to the iconic Abbey.

Country Living Fair – Fast & Festive 'Spring Flowers' Activation

Fast-paced, high-energy, and full of colour! I hosted four back-to-back 1-hour workshops for 80 attendees, centered on a cheerful 'Spring Flowers' theme. To maximize creative fun within a short window, I pre-printed a base illustration of a jug with a clever overlay flap system. This allowed guests to hand-print carved linocut blooms directly "into" the jug, walking away with a perfectly layered, frame-ready art print in under an hour!

Design Agency, Farringdon – Swapping Screens for Slow Craft

Rolling into a buzzing Farringdon design studio with my trolley packed full of rollers, inks, and antique wooden blocks, we staged the ultimate digital detox! The team pushed their Macs to the back of their desks and got hands-on with analogue design principles. Rolling out ink and playing with tactile, physical typography sparked huge creative energy, proving just how refreshing - and inspiring - it is to step away from the screen and get your hands a little inky.
