The image is from an original sand blasted stained glass window light I created back in 1994 and is the inspiration for starting my own business. I sold the piece of glass at an Art Fair in Teddington, Middlesex UK in 1994. I had also made postcards of the image which were for sale at the same time.
Over twenty years later a friend of mine was staying in a B&B in Sussex when she saw my postcard in a frame in her room. It made me think that I my work had some staying power and maybe I should do more of it - and so I turned the design into my first tea towel.
