Collection: Bakewell Tart

I love a Bakewell tart! One of my favourite recipes to make although illustrating it was a little harder as I ran out of ingredients, so I included a nice cup of tea to go with it.

There is much debate on whether it should be Bakewell Tart or Bakewell Pudding and after some research I have found out that actually they are slightly different things. The pudding being something eaten at the end of a meal and the tart is usually eaten for tea. This recipe illustrated here is definitely a tart with the almonds arranged beautifully on the top - Yum!

My recipe is screen printed onto high quality organic cotton to create the tea towel which comes with the cooking instructions on the packaging. Also available on a greetings card with the cooking instructions on the back of the card.
