The recipes have been contibuted by chefs, homecooks, food critics, food growers and bloggers on Instagram, including a Masterchef quarter finalist.

I had fun creating the illustrations for each recipe as well as cooking them for myself - they are all simple to make and absolutely delicious, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. The images are all handpainted monoprints and include the name of the dish as well as the ingredients as I love typography. Some have the feeling of old advertising posters.
The information pages are illustrated in a style that echoes the work I used to do as a teenager; drawing and cutting designs for Victorian style windows, the natural forms creating symmetrical patterns - I found it fun, I hope you do too!
